MORTAR AMMUNITION 81, 98 and 120 MM

To illustrate the difference between HE Mortar Ammunition and ammunition equipped with a TNT Charge, it is important to understand that the 81 mm and 98 mm HE Mortar ammunition was developed by the Slovak MOD and the 120mm category of Mortar Ammunition was developed by the erstwhile Czechoslovakia.

HE Mortar Ammunition has an exponentially higher blast effect than a TNT charge because it is powered by a highly explosive Hexotol charge which multiplies the blast and fragmentation effect.

All Mortar Ammunition shells at CHW Forge feature the MZ-95M or the MZ – 81M fuses which fully conform to NATO specifications. Both fuses have a nose-point detonating design and they can be set to quick or delayed action keeping in mind the desired blast and fragmentation effect.

Safety is always ensured through CHW transport safety pins and safety masks.

MORTAR BOMBS 60mm Mortar Munitions

Created for their wide range of fragmentation, Mortar Bombs are capable of destroying everything from light armoured targets, machine gun clusters, field fortifications, infantry units in trenches and targets concealed by natural barriers in forested and mountainous terrains.

The 60mm Mortar Bombs are designed to be used in conjunction with the 60mm Ultralight Commando Mortar and the 60mm Mortar LR. Given their highly explosive capabilities, each bomb is packed into a waterproof plastic case and 10 pieces are packed in prescribed wooden transport boxes.
